Hyaluronic acid is an essential molecule for hydration and supporting facial structures. Over time, not only do fat compartments and bone structure diminish, but the natural production of hyaluronic acid also decreases. This evolution leads to a loss of tissue density and tone, sometimes giving them a more sagging appearance. Hyaluronic acid injections at our Lausanne clinic restore volume, redefine contours, and naturally rehydrate the skin. Beyond skin revitalization, this treatment also corrects asymmetries for a more harmonious face.
At our Lausanne clinic, we use a hyaluronic acid gel of varying degrees of cross-linking and concentration, of non-animal origin, tailored to each face and injected at different depths depending on the area to be treated and the desired result.
Results are visible immediately. The final, natural, and harmonious appearance stabilizes after 10 to 15 days, allowing the product to fully integrate into the tissues and for water absorption to occur. Effects generally last 6 to 18 months, depending on the area and type of product injected.
The consultation allows for a discussion of expectations, facial analysis, and the establishment of a personalized treatment plan.
An anesthetic gel is applied for 30 to 45 minutes, after which the area is carefully disinfected.
Injections are performed using micro-cannulas or very fine needles, depending on the most suitable method.

The duration of the effects of hyaluronic acid injected at the Lausanne clinic primarily depends on the treated area and its degree of mobility. Lips tend to have a shorter duration, while cheekbones generally last longer. Depending on the type of product and the injected region, results typically last between 4 months and 1.5 years.
Hyaluronic acid is used to restore volume, correct certain asymmetries, and restore natural harmony to the face. Botox acts differently. It relaxes or reduces the activity of muscles responsible for expression lines, which smooths fine lines while maintaining natural expressiveness, without necessarily changing or adding volume.
Yes, complications such as vascular occlusion or necrosis can theoretically occur, but these situations remain very rare.
